I`m SICK

Oh,...dear, I`m losing my voice started yesterday properly I talked too much during my working time. LOL Besides, the weather here also getting cold which make my voice even worse. I started to felt sore throat and itchy. Recently, I also didn't sleep well and sometime I`m a night person.

Today, I wakeup in the morning I can feel my legs muscles and my back is "killing me" ! oh mannnnnnnnn so sore!!! due to bad postures. Properly, I work too hard on yesterday. It have been ages, I haven't work so hard and long hours like this before. It remind me when my 1st job as kitchen-hand. Sigh,..I guess I`m getting old kuaaaaaaa.....

So, today I must talk less and rest more at home my drinking a lot honey and water like a fish!!! LOL.


Anyway, I also got nobody here to talk to which is BORING!!!!!! Suppose I wanna go to Oakleigh Mall by myself today since it was weekend. But, my legs is killing me and today the bus schedules is limited sigh,....and I`m still no feeling well. Better just stay at home and sleep more, if going out I`m will end up wasting $$$ on taxi.

Well,..after what have happened, the lesson I learned; Don't push or work to hard own yourself even you wanna to proof and impress your manager LOL, and always remember to take break, drink more and eat well during the day and need to sleep early at night. Annnnnd,..properly spend less time on the internet. heheheehh

Royal Easter Show @ Sydney YAAAAA!!!!

Yaaaaaaaa!, today I just bought a return airticket through Virgin Blue airlines back to Sydney! Yeap, I coming back to Sydney on 14 April 2007 (Sat) and will be back to Melbourne 16 April 2007 (Monday)

Time depart: 6.15am (ya i know is the earliest and most cheap $$$)

The most exciting is on 14 April I`m going to Royal Easter Show with my all buddies at Sydney ! YES! YES! can't wait for it and get "wild" LOL (hopefully I wouldn't "pokai"(bankrupt) at the end of the day, sighhhhhh need to be in control !)



Besides, I also called my good friend Adeline that I gonna spend the whole day on 15 April with her kids. YAAA,..I missed them so much!! and for Monday I will take the opportunity to visit my ex-boss and they family. Poor Raymond, he can't join me because he can't take a few day off.

At the beginning I heard it kind of like "so so" but don't know some how I keep played it on my MP3 player while I wrote my blog "ON 12 March 2007" I started to shaking my foot, my head and I started to sang it whhahhahaha. Time for explore Melbourne City. Is the day we felt like a tourist. You can said it was my happiest and enjoy day at Melbourne. But, it gonna be my last day for fun because on 13 March I will started work at Chadstone (T_T) So,...let's get wild !! wahhaah just kidding.

Shopping TIME for dining table & sofa. We went to IKEA Richmond It took us about 30 mins drive from our place to Richmond. Richmond is quite near the CBD, and I like Richmond because is more like Eastwood or Chinatown. Got a lot Asian grocery stores and Asian restaurants.






IKEA....here I come

Well, we end up don't buy any furniture but we will be back on April (we already decided which one we want to buy) because on this month we have been spent a lot money and need to be control our budget.


When we park our car at Richmond IKEA car park, we got this parking card and Guess what?? the card stated JUICE BOOST promotion buy one get one free!! YAHOOOO...

So, I ordered "ALL Berry BANG" medium (450ml) AUS$4.95 and whose know, Raymond got large size (650ml) for " Blueberry Blast" ARRRRRRRRRR....... bigger than mine. hehehe (I shouldn't be too greedy)

After finish shopping at IKEA, we planned to go to cinema but the Mr. Bean Holidays still not available. (T_T) Need to wait until 29 March 2007 OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG. So, we just looking around the mall and there one store who catch my attention. THE "KINGPIN BOWLING LOUNGE" ohhhhhhhh got bowling !!! i like it.

Unfortunate, we cant go in because we carry our juice boost. That place was so cool, we even can organized a party there & got DJ and really good place to hang out with friends. If my friends come to Melbourne for sure I will bring them there to have fun. Check it out they website!

The day we have been waiting for. Don't know some how I felt worry on that day. Maybe I`m worry about my stuffs and our furnitures. It was bloody early in the morning, we have been told our furniture will delivered around 8am. Whose know, around 7.30am someone knock our door and we wakeup realized that is the Allied guys. OMG !!! I havent brush my teeth and change my clothes. yaaaaaa who care....ahahahhahaah



So, their started to sent the stuffs one by one and put it on our lounge. We keep counting the boxes and started to unpacked.

Actually, our unit is combined lounge with kitchen. Lucky, we don't have dining table and sofa. Otherwise where we should put them. So, that day we have been busy unpacked and clean all stuffs, setup our computer and etc. Finally, got nice and warm bed to sleep on. heheheeh.

Last day at Quest Apartment. (T_T) tonight need to sleep with sleepy bag on the floor, because our furnitures will be deliver on 10 March 2007.

So, pretty much nothing to do, we just shopping around at Fountain Gate Mall & Chadstone Mall and gone to cyber for online.

On 8 March 2007

YAAAAAa,..finally got the key. It also means time for clean up the whole unit. AiyAAAA!!! So, we went to Coles supermarket to bought some detergent and cleaning material.

Before, do the cleaning we also need to inspected and filled the condition report. Based on our contract our min leased is 12 months (AUS$210 perweek) which pretty similar to our previous AUS$225 per week at Sydney. (SEE..i told you about living expenses.) So, after 12 months, for sure we need to move because still consider expensive.

At that time we really don't have not choice to take the property because we running out of time and we both soon will start to work. At least need to find some place to settle down.

Well,....u guys must be wandering where our furnitures. right???? Our furnitures have been store at the company storages for temporary until we found our own place.

We called the Allied Company, our furnitures will be delivered on 10 March 2007 (8am).

On 7 March 2007

Today,...we signed our property contract, but we will get the key on Thursday. Friday (9 March 2007) is our last day at Quest Apartment which we need to check out at 10am.

After signed the contract we immediately call the telephone company and Energy company to start the connection to our property. Besides that, we went to our bank to updated our contact details and etc.

So, we continue our car shopping and we found a few which we like it. At the end, we need to find out all the car loans procedures and finance & interests.

Before we go back, I managed to sent some postcards to my friends and went to cyber to let them know my current address and contact details.

Really missed them so much when I started to read they emails. THKS to the technology !!! and we also got free calls for OPTUS users. Almost every night, Doris and I spoke on phone (of coz we are OPTUS user)

On 6 March 2007

On Tuesday, time for car shopping! We have been gone to many car dealers, not luck at all. Since we rented for a week, so we need to extend for another week. sighhhhhhh,..Ya i know we have been spend a lot money and we don't even dare to find out how much we have been spent.

Besides, we also sick of food court. Really make me sick. I missed home cooked meals!!! We almost everyday eat McDonald & KFC. :S However, we still about buy some Chinese food takeaway. Well, the taste "so so" :P

So, in the afternoon we went to Coles supermarket bought some fruits & shopping. Compare Sydney & here. I still like Sydney because got everything and more variety for foods & restaurants. More public transports. Even the business hour is more longer.

Most stores here close at 5-5.30pm (Monday-Wednesday) and for shopping mall closed at 9pm (Thursday-Friday). As for Saturday, closed 3-5pm or Sunday some stores don't even open. :S So, weekend can be really really BORINGGGGGGGG

Although, a lot people said the living expenses is more cheaper compare to Sydney, for me almost the same. Maybe, because I`m not a big spender $$$.

On 5 March 2007

Well,..on Monday we submitted our applications for renting the property. Actually, on that day we found a nice property and we were so lucky able to meet the landlord, lovely old couple (not an aussie) They were so friendly and even show us around the property. At the same time, we also meet our next door neighbour, which is also very nice guy and he`s from Greek.

Hmmm,...not bad the 1st impression and the landlord also give us some tips about where we can take public transport n stores around the area. So, we let the landlord know that we like it and we will applied for it.

So, we got feeling that we are 100% for sure will got the property. Whose know.... in afternoon we got a call from real estate agent that we got it!! and asked us when we can sign the contract. YAHOOOOOOO!

HAHHA,..our mission COMPLETED!

Then, time for fun & exploring some cool places. Well, we decided go to beach. At 1st we have not idea where to go. So,....I opened the Map and search all over which one is the nearest and easiest way to get there. Finally, we found it. let`s go to BLACK ROCK.



So, we started drive from Dandenong because it is easy to get there and it took us 1 hour drive (at the same time we both get tanned even in the car because too sunny). As you can see just drive straight. Guess what??????.... suppose we go to Black Rock , but we end up gone to Bayside and Ricketts Point wahahaha. (okok i`m suck with map) On the top map with red circle is Melbourne city.

okay,......since it was Sunday, all real estate agency are closed, so we just drive & explored around the suburb such as Oakleigh, Clayton, Malvern East, Malvern, Mt Waverley, Murrumbeena, and Dandenong South.

We always wanted to know where the "KK" head office for VIC which located at Dandenong South. So, at the end we found it YAAAAAAAA!!!

This time is for real house hunting,........not much pictures to share, quite disappointed because:
>less stores
>less public transport (bus+train)
>some area are too far which is cheap rental fees
>some area are way too expenses which near & good location

I really missed Eastwood. Got everything and more like my second hometown.

There is one thing I noticed the different between Sydney is Sydney don't have a lot trams. People here more rely on trams as public transport. I hardly see any buses.




omg......look up to sky, so many trams cables.


At the end of day, we went to Coles super market to buy some grocery to make dinner, and continued our mission for next day.


Talking about Coles supermarket, I realized here don't have "Woolworth supermarket" in stead they using "SAFEWAY supermarket " name. Why??? I still don't have any idea. Basically, they selling the same products, same display & same uniform for the staffs.
