Hair

Today, I finally went to hair salon to get my hair cut done. Suppose, it was last Saturday but the salon was fully booked and I end up need to made my appointment with them. Well, it is a Korean Hairdresser and I forgot to bring my camera to shoot the salon. (not to shoot the process when I`m getting my hair cut lahhhhhhh :P)

I was sick of my long long hair and feel heavy and often got trouble at sleep especially when my shoulder keep pull my hair. The picture just took from yesterday night. I look like a ghost (@_@')

I always like Korean Salon bcoz they sure "know" how to cut our hair better rather then ang moh Salon. The salon is nothing fancy or looks high class. Just an ordinary salon. The reason I choose it bcoz

1. Korean Salon (just look in the Korean artists & Rain hair cut ohhhhhhhhhhhh I love it!!!)
2. First impression (they are soooooooooo polite! ex: open door for me, nice greeting)
2. $$$ ( compare to high class like Toni& Guy - I`ll pokai)
3. Regular customers ( just look at the appointment book (@_@')
4. Own experience (went to Korean Salon once at Sydney)

You guys has no idea how anxious I am at the beginning, it was so hard to find any Hair Salon here especially Korean one. At the end I need go to Clayton which more Asian people and quite near Monash UNI.

Once I`m done, just went to grocery store and started camwhore at home LOL. Suddenly, I looked back my pictures in my hard disk. Woo!,..I just realized that I got my haircut once a year. Just look at 2003 when I was just arrived at Australia for studies till now 2007. My worse experience is 2004 I permed my hair which at that time was sooooo damn popular the Japanese's hairstyle. I was so disappointed and I look like a L.I.O.N!!! and at the time Raymond keep laughed & teasing me. (T_T) I will NEVER everrrrrr perm my hair, even you pay for me to Toni & Guy. (>_<)
sigh,...getting old and fat liew.......

Well, before I went to salon, I actually do some research ehehheeh on the internet, and wondering what kind of haircut will suitable and then I even printout the picture and ask the hairdresser it is possible to get this kind of haircut and will it look good on me.

So, this is the outcome. Ta...TAAA.

And can you guys guess how $$$ it cost me???

it was only AUS$25.00. WOO cheappppppp! my previous one haircut cost me with "3 digits" AUS$XXX The hairdesser told me my front hair was too short. At least need to over the nose level. By the time it will grown longer and playing with the wax cream. It will look a lot better and will like the picture`s hairstyle.

Thanks good I don't look like white trash/punk (samseng). I`m sure will be back again to that salon. Now what.........??? feel wanna dye my hair & highlight. kekekekkek

P/S: By the way, tonight is Full MOON ohhh...hope you guys enjoy. I love moon and my camera suck! cannot take a good one. okay have a good weekend!

Happy Birthday To Me

Today is my "Big Day" and also an ordinary day and I don't really felt excited to celebrate properly because of my busy schedule on work. Every time I got home, I just feel wanna take a hot shower and have a good night sleep. Or, it is because I don't like other people who make it such as big deal. It is jealous or envy?? Maybe.?? Anyway whateverrrrrrrr. Thanks goodness lucky is not my 21st. ahhahah Otherwise I will be miserable.

Well, this year is a bit difference, it is my 1st time having my birthday an other state in Australia > Victoria. This year is a bit hard to celebrate with my loved one due to our work roster. Weather (-__-')

Recently, the weather is getting colder and chiller. At the moment is 8 degrees. Walauuuuuu!!, I need my heater now. Last few week, Oakleigh East and other suburb has been fogy and it was amazing till you hard to see on the road or building. I never experienced this kind of weather at Sydney.

All pictures below I took it on 15 June 2007, I was woke up early in the morning at 6am, I wanna make my own breakfast and looked out the kitchen, my reaction was like " WAAAAO" Omg.....am I still dreaming or something wrong with my eyes????

Took it from my lounge window.

So, I walked to my backyard. It was amazing! I felt like in heaven, dancing in the air. ahhaaha (lucky still early in morning, not one there) But it was cold. ahahaahahh and at the end I took some pictures.

from backyard

At that time, the weather has been fogy, even at 8am! in the morning. I still remember, after 12pm getting warm about 14 degrees, But I still think too cold for me. I hate winter. Winter make me sad and moody LOL.

In front house - right (Princess Highway) @ 6am

Besides, all vegetables prices have been rise up bcoz of winter season, and it affect a lot vegetables and fruit production. (Today, I just do some grocery shopping). Same as my electric bill bcoz of heater. I hate it, that means my living expenses will increase too. (T_T)

In front house - left (Princess Highway) @ 7pm

In the late afternoon or evening, it getting fogy again. At that time Ray come to picked me up from work and we also found some difficulty for driving in this kind of weather condition. Need to be more caution and cant drive fast even on Highway. Hardly to see the car in front of us O_o'

Sigh.............I wish we have summer now. I cant wait for it!!!

Lovely LunchBox

Yesterday, Ray & I both had to work night shift. So, I `m free for whole morning and afternoon. I decided to cooked nasi lemak for our lunch and since Ray wouldnt be back for dinner, I will made him a lunchbox (errrrrrr actually, is dinner box). Bcoz, in the middle night, where he can buy takeaway foods.

Things turn into quick surprisingly, a simple lunchbox turn into "masterpiece" heheheh

What is your favourite food in your state or country?

I was tagged by 13thpanda. >>> What is your favourite food in your state or country? HMMMMM........simple question, but tough to answer.

HMMM,....walauuuuuuuu so hard to answer!, bcoz I basically love to eat everything! So, finally, I figured out how to determine my answer. I should ask myself, how often I ate it and never sick of it.

So,.....my answer is CHINESE 8`s HERBS MIX CHICKEN SOUP

I used 2 pieces of chicken maryland & 2 pieces of chicken bones.

I almost will cooked it once a month and sometime can be more than that. I still remember on New year 2007 I also cooked the same chicken soup and invited Doris & I did wrote it on my friendster's blog.

It was so nice when you eat the chicken meat & dip with fresh cut chili with soy sauce. Yummmmmmmm really mouth watering.

Ta..ta from clear soup turn into dark soup

Yumyum.......fresh chili with soy sauce

I know it looks a bit disgusting but, I tell u guys once you taste it.You will wanna drink the whole pot. ahhaha. It is sweet and tasty!! Plus! it good for health. I like it so much bcoz it is so tasty just by drinking the soup & ate the chicken I can eat a few bowl of rices.

8 `s Chinese herbs

1. Radix Codonopsis
2. Radix Angelicae Sinensis
3. Rhizoma Ligustici
4. Poria
5. Radix Rehmanniae
6. Rhizoma Atractylodis
7. Glycyrrhizae
8. Radix Paeoniae Lactiflorae

It also so simple to cook it and basically, just put all the 8 herbs & chicken into the pot and boil it for 5 hours with low-medium heat. The longer you cooked the richer on the soup. Later just put some salt. That`s it.

Normally, I love to drink the soup when it overnight bcoz, the next day you taste it, it was soooooooooooooo rich and delicious! and the soup even darker in color. Waa...laaaaa It perfect eat with rice or long life thin noodles.

Duan Wu Jie a.k.a Rice Dumpling / Dragon Boat Festival

Do you know today is Duan Wu Jie??? I actually almost forgot till my parents told me on yesterday. So, today I just phoned home and have a quick chat with my parents. Well,...how many of you celebrate or are you now enjoy eating the rice dumpling??? (-__-')

All pictures below from http://home.comcast.net/~cs-andover/Web_Doc/DuanwuFestival.pdf

Well, Ray & I didnt celebrate it. Once I finish work, we both just ate dinner at home and I also didnt cook any special dishes. Plus!, Ray need to work tonight for night shift. Poor honey... (T_T). As for me, I was so bored, and just surf the internet.

Suddenly, I forgot the stories about Rice Dumpling and the whole thing about Duan Wu Festival. OMGGGGGGGGG! WHAT A SHAME!!! How could I ????? So, I started to do some research on internet. I found one website which are interesting and got all the dumpling pictures.

I remembered, every year my aunt will made zongzi/ rice dumpling for us and friends. My aunty is really good in cooking and making dessert. And basically, almost good at everything, when talk about foods. GOSH,....I really missed it.

In my whole life, I only made once rice dumpling with my aunt when I was 17 years old. At that time, My mum invited my aunt to our house and teach us how to make it. Basically, it pretty easy to prepare and the harder part is folding. If you don't fold it nicely, at the end all the filling will come off. heheh

I think I still remember how to make it. My main problem is who gonna finish the whole dumpling at the end????. So, kind of waste it. When, we were at Sydney we only just bought the dumpling from Chinese grocery about AUS$2.50 each.

But, at here the only place I can found is BoxHill. Maybe, bcoz BoxHill got a lot Asian people and Chinese grocery. However, of coz I`m not gonna drive 35 mins all along way from my home to Boxhill just rice dumpling.

Anyway, I wishing my family, friends, and all readers "Happy Duan Wu Jie!" \(^_0_^)/

Nite nite...time for sleeping beauty... heheh

Queen Victoria Market - Melbourne (Part 3)

One of attraction about QVM, every month there will be a group of street performers to entertain the tourist or shoppers. Shoppers can enjoy their morning tea or lunch break at open air cafe while enjoy the music.

Even their pets also enjoy

After we finish the whole tour at QVM, so we decided go to Melbourne Central (http://www.melbournecentral.com.au/) for the very 1st time. Nothing so special about it, it just pretty much the same as other shopping centre. However, they got this unqiue tower inside the Melbourne Central Building called "Shot Tower".

I like Melbourne Central`s modern interior design and very fashionable, it is easy to access bcoz it has it own train station and buses to get there. However, the parking fees is pretty expensive 1hrsAUS$8.00.

I can saw that a lot teenagers shopping here, I guess mainly are the Uni student bcoz the RMIT Uni is just near by the Central. It over300 stores, Food courts, 7 cinemas Hoyts, Bowling centre and night cafe or bar. And a lot people went to gym bcoz they got Fitness First.

Well, I kind of like this place. So, I would recommended everyone go to Melbourne Central. hehehh hoping I can find cheap rental apartment near the place. Then my life will more blossoming and enjoy the city life.

Queen Victoria Market - Melbourne (Part 2)

Okay,..enough pictures with the QVM - clothing, homeware, jewelry and etc. This time about FOODS!!!!

QVM also popular with fresh veg, fruits, seafood and wines. The great thing is you also able get free sampling such as wines, home made jam, cheeses, cookies and etc. How great is that. You can taste it before you buy and it ensure you able buy high quality products.

Besides, the price hohohohohoh DAMN CHEAP!!! cheaper then other suburb such as BoxHill, Clayton & Oakleigh. But, it just a bit too far for us to drive to CBD just to buy cheap veg & fruit bcoz if you still need to pay parking fees AUS$4.00 2hrs, 35mins drive, & petrol fees.

There one thing I need to warn you guy when shopping at QVM, just becareful with "pick pocket $$$" and the seller are BLOOOOOODY RUDE!. Becoz the price so cheap, there a lot customers, so when we were going to buy some veg and some of them dont allow you pick your own, and if you buy in small quantity they will ask you dont buy, just go somewhere else. WTF@##@$#$$#%%!!!!

At that time we going to buy a small amount of mushrooms bcoz it damn cheap only AUS$5 perkg, then the seller asked me how much you wanna buy, I told him less then 1 kg, he started to shooed us !!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! We were like " WHAT?!" Come on, lahhh I dont need 1kg of mushroom! Can u guys imaging 1kg of mushrooms ??? WALAU we cant finish it within a week.

Not just that, Ray also felt piss off when he was bought some corns. The price tag " 5 for AUS$3.00" So, of coz Ray start to picked the big size of the corn, and suddenly this seller come to us and told us " WHAT WRONG WITH THE FRONT ONE?? ALL ARE THE SAME". Well, of coz we ignored him and still bought the corns.

PHEW,...what an experiences. That why, this is also one of reason I like shop at Paddy market Sydney. At least the seller are friendly and still can buy it a low cost.

We bought 1 box of Mandarin orange only AUS$12.00. So sweet & juicy. Feel like Chinese New Year ehehehhehe.

After finish shopping with veg & fruits and also went to street market (same area), suddenly we smell something so heavenly....Mmmmmmmmmm smell so good! So we try to find it where it coming from. And guess what is AMERICAN DOUGHNUT KITCHEN.

WAAAAA,..everyone are queued just fpr doughnuts. So,....MUST TRY!!!!! the shape is totally different compare to original donut. It shape like a pingpong and inside with strawberry filled jam. ohhhhhhhhhhhhh,..I love it especially when you eat while it HOT!

But, cant it too much it actually very FATing....(T_T)

okay next will be PART 3 so be patient.

Queen Victoria Market - Melbourne (Part 1)

Sorry guys!!! for took so long to update my blog. Recently, I have been really busy with my work and I don't even got to time to online check my emails. Support yesterday I was gonna do it but I was too tired and exhausted to move my lazy butt to computer chair. ahhaha Whole day I just have been sleeping, eating, relaxing and dammit! still heaps of homework need to be done. (>_<) okay enough with the crap!

Basically, QVM pretty much like Paddy Market at Sydney or like Pasar Malam at Kuching. So, you got the ideas. I can found anything at QVM and the price even damn cheap!!!!,..YEAP ! when i said "anything" I mean it!. From Clothes-Homeware-plant-foods-pet-etc. You name it lahhh. If you ask me which one I prefer? I still think Paddy Market is the best bcoz it got more choices and variety.

Girl`s best friend!!!!!!hohoho so much to choose (@__@')

Did you guys notice something above this photo????? on the top, center there a few masterpieces are naked painting. oh La la....heheeh

so much for jeans, no where to fit it

There one thing I don't like QVM is bcoz although they selling a lot of clothes from tops to pants, underwear, shoes, socking, hats, Jacket, gloves and etc, There no fitting room for us to try on. Besides, the weather is damn cold, even got fitting room I dont feel wanna take off all my jumper, scarf, and shirt just to try on the clothes. If is summer time I dont mind. But, I rather go inside the Shopping centre which got heater and proper fitting room.

Cheese board, it look pretty like chopping board.

still got long long way down. It pretty big

Fresh honey,.... fresh eggs & chicken from farms and the chicken is alive!!!!

DVDs, CDs....of course not pirated one!!!!!!damn cheap compare to retail stores.

This place is so good, you even can found pet needs and pet foods.

When I saw this master pieces I feel like at hometown bcoz my parents house got a lot chinese painting.

If my dad saw this , he properly will buy it ahhahaah. My favorite is the sakura flower. My heart is "itchy" feel wanna bring it home. I love the background color pure white and light-soft pink flower, Make me feel spring time and relax. If hanged in our house it gonna be highlight our house. But, we didnt buy it becoz we will move out again, till we buy our very 1st house, then can start to planning for decoration.

My favourite part!!! hahahh I know I`m such as weirdo. I love shopping for kitchen wares compare shopping for clothing. Maybe becoz I love cooking and sometime I love to decorate my kitchen and do nice presentation on the foods. Then, we both will feel enjoy and appropriate the food more. ahhaahh

I still remember I always do foods presentation when come to Chinese new year eve dinner. My mum will responsible do the cooking while I will set the dining area and house decoration. hmmmmm,..so missed hometown. (T_T)

lose weight??? anyone dare to try it in front million of people??? hahaha

cute cactus

okay,..enough for today. Part 2 will coming out soon and I still haven't finish edit the video. I promise next post will more interesting & juicy heheheh. okay guys,..hope you guys enjoy the weekend and start back work 2morow have a good week!
