Geelong

We used to saw news about Geelong, especially the sport news; football club and even the weather news also mentioned Geelong. Why, not Chadstone, Dandenong or other suburb??? So, we have been thinking what so special about Geelong.

Since, Raymond and I are off today, why not explore Geelong. I started do some research through the internet from yesterday and planned our trip. It took us about 2 hours drive!! due to bad traffic. But, it was lovely day and warm. :) We quite enjoy the scenery.


As you can see, is pretty damn far away. From our home drive along through Melbourne CBD to Geelong. We didn't realized that Geelong is the largest regional centre in the State of Victoria. (@_o_@')



OMG! luck I don't buy cheap Airline (JETSTAR) fly to Sydney, because for those bought cheapest airline fly for domestic , you need go to Avalon Airport. That means you need spend extra $$$ to call taxi.

Tomorrow, I will go to Melbourne Airport (VirginBlue Airline) and ready to fly to Sydney. YAHOO!, Cant wait to see my friends and ROYAL EASTER SHOW here I come!!!!



Market Square Shopping Mall A.k.A The Heart of Geelong. After arrived, we went to the mall for lunch and do some shopping and went to information centre get the map and some brochures about Geelong attraction. Geelong also got Westfield a.k.a Bay City Westfield just opposite the Market Square. From the mall you actually about to see the beach view! So, we went to Eastern and Western beaches.


Baywalk Bollards at Eastern Beach. Is the most famous wooden sculptures by an artist Jan Mitchell.


Damn!, I didn't bring my slippers.


Seaplane flight for tourist at Western Beach. At the beginning we wandering how much per person for Geelong tour? and it could be expensive. So, we didn't ask for the price. Maybe just wait for our parents come to Melbourne and going back to Geelong for holidays.


Lousy musician LOL


This is not an ordinary Merry-Go-Round ohhh. Is an an antique, hand-carved carousel - is worth a million dollars and is more than 110 years old. They took over 100 hours just to maintain or restore each horse. Yeap! Eaaaaaaach horse!

Note content: The band organ is very delicate. It was not designed to operate continuously. We will endeavor to play the band organ for 10 minutes in every hour while ride is operating. Should you wish to listen to this band organ please ask a Carousel team member who will happy to assist.

Well, it was a great day. Raymond and I really enjoy our short trip to Geelong. I think Geelong is pretty good places to pay a visit for those never been there. I absolutely recommend to everyone. ~*finger point*~ "Urgent Blood"

I was just making funny on Raymond, that he drive too slow like turtle, why everyone overtaking the vehicle on us although I know we only limited to 100km perhour, suddenly this white vehicle speed up and overtaking us and we saw the sign " Urgent Blood" waaahaha the guys must be desperate to get more blood. LOL Actually, it was a pathology company car.

We both yelled: Hell yaaaaaaa!. ekekkekekek

You know, sometime when u drive on freeway you wouldn't realized your speed and especially when everyone overtaking you. Felt like we are too slow. And guess what??? we are over 120kms! OMG......better slow down, I don't want get speeding ticket or demerit.

ohhhhhhhhhh How cool is that!!!!! Blesed! The guys must be paid a lot $$$ for that plate!. For your information, in Victoria state we are allow choose the word and numbers for car plate as long it available and you willing to pay for the price. We should change our car plate to "RAY & LAURA" LOL
