It was lovely & fun to take Puffing Billy Train and I so wanted to ride AGAAINNN!!. Our bus tour were stop at Belgrave station where we departure and stop Menzies Creek. We were so enjoy the autumn season scenery around the Dandenong ranges, especially fresh air... omg~~~and some of trees are really beautiful & with colorful leaves.

However, we really disappointed bcoz we didnt get chance to buy some souvenir. T_T I was so upset at that time. But, Ray try to comforted me and told me, he promised will bring me next time, and it will be our own trip. ~*sob*sob*~. Also, we nearly dont have time for take some photos I means on the train station how you can miss it.

We nearly get lost from our guide tour wtf!
Mannnnnnnn,we wanna take some photo of ourself standing next to train!

At the end, we were like...Shit!...where`s our tour?!!! Cepat! Cepat!! try to find our group and finally saw them taking photo at the front. phew~~~

>_<' sighhh~~~sun`s ray It was such as RUSH! and imaging sooooooooooo many people! want to take they turn for photography.

After that, we RUSH! to find our tour group carriage and grab our sit and we were given Train ticket (old fashion)

Another train

I wish I got 2 Laura,...one holding camera, & one holding video camera.

Cute kids

I bet someone at back snap me too~

Another train coming from opposite way. It was so fun & GREAT! experiences about this part. Once the train pass through us, everyone in the train greeting, waving and say hello to you!!!

From around the world tourists...... we also non-stop waving and hello to every single of them with BIG smile :D

~*those steam really "killing" my baby cam*~ (T_T)

If I wasn't wear skirt, so sure I will be like them enjoy the scenery.

So young & pro in photography

So,...on the train Ray & I got a plan, once the train stop and arrived Menzies Creek. We RUSH and go to the very front train to take another pictures, how ever some ppl even more "KIASU" then us. -___-' still took us a few minutes to get out turns.

Dandenong Ranges & Billy Tea

On Saturday (24 May), Ray & I went to Day Tour which purchased from Viator.com. It was such as rush tour in my opinion bcoz we have limited time to each places that we going to visit. However, everyone might think it was lovely tour but not for us because like to take our time to take good photography.

Basically, I can feel others think we pretty siao/crazy~~~ because we keep taking photos while other just relax, seat & enjoy the scenery. What a waste.

on the bus

To be honest, I was really really tired bcoz the day before I have such as long shift which I get to finish work till 9.30pm. (T_T) poor me~~~ and next day have to wokeup at 5.30am!!!! and catch the train at 6.55pm to city. It was sooooooo cold that morning about 4'degrees and with empty stomach.

Once we arrived at city, we went to had breakfast some where Bourke St & Swanston St (near Melbourne Chinatown) bcoz we mean to be meet the departure point with the Tour at 8.30am.

The first destination will be the Dandenong Ranges (National Park) and stop at Grants Picnic Park to have billy tea for morning break. On the way to Dandenong Ranges, the Aussie bus driver aka tour guide introduced surounder Melbourne city.

There a little disappointment for us because we didnt have the opportunity to stop at Dandenong ranges. I swear to god! it was soooooooooooo beautiful the rain forest when we passed through the ranges to Grants Picnic. I was oohhhh ~~~I wish we could stop and have a quick snap photo.

It was beautiful morning and you will see the rays from sun through those big trees. Like the following picture which I found from internet; http://www.imagesaustralia.com/dandenong.htm

Dammit! next time gotto drive own car for the trip.

how big the trees, how little we are. O.o'

Finally, arrived Grants picnic park for morning break and enjoy Australian billy tea. Basically, it just a normal tea like those Lipton tea, it just those teas are made by billy cans and the friendly driver set out with some snack and served with spongecakes with chocolate & sprinkle coconuts, crackers with Vegemite!(spreadable on toast or crackers). Very aussie style. Vegemite also can consider icon of Australia, if you are tourist dont forgot bring some home. (^_^)

got it from internet, how to make billy tea.

The best describe for the taste will be like Borvil, which is my favourite!! I love eat with porridge and some time as hot drinks especially when I`m sick.

help yourself

Enjoy billy tea~~

While enjoy the morning break, you will get chance to see & feed parrot birds which is it one of the state licensed and allow to feed those wild parrots.

Mannnnnnn,..seriously those bird arent scare of human, in fact they just fly and come to you non-stop if your hand with foods. However, I need to warn you guys 1st, those birds mind look very friendly, but it sometime will bite which it happened on one our ppl from tour and it was nasty bleeding on finger. If you really "LUcky" you get "JACKPOT" (poo-poo) wahahhaah

More bird photos

So, we only limited to 30minutes at Grants picnic park, what can you expect with 30mins -___-' how rush we are.

next will be Puffing Billy Steam Train~

Phillip Island (Part 5: Penguin Parade)

okay,...finally the one you guys have been waiting for "The Penguin Parade". Before I go through the whole thing, I would like to let you know 1st, this entry wont have any photo of penguin, cause as I mentioned earlier all the photography & video are NOT PERMITTED!

Dont play play arrr!

So, I hope you guys understand. (^_^)

As you can see, on board the "Comfort level" is third which obviously very cold! On the day morning was 4' degrees SIAO~~~No kidding. If you ask anyone been to the Penguin parade, everyone will tell you the same thing. VERY VERY COLD, and please bring extra warm clothes, jacket or even bring some gloves & cap. Some people also bring blankets! can you imagining??????

I dont think our parents can "tahan" -__-' with the temperature but you can bring foods or hot drinks along. As least it will help you warm up.

okaylahhhhhhhhhh at least got fake penguin but those are not the same as Phillip Island "little penguin" aka The World Smallest Penguins.

~*great! now I look like dumpling*~-__-'

To be honest I was wearing 5 layers which Ray & I did bring extra warm clothes, scarf and gloves and it stillllllllllllll bloody cold!!!

At the begining, before we head to Penguin Parade, we actually change our clothes, wear more & grab hot drink and have a quick dinner at small cafe. It was expensive about average $14.50-$16 and as for drink start from $3 dollar.

But,..........hey those money we spent are put into the fund research for saving & look after those little cute penguins. (^_^)

At that time, we were informed by staff from Visitor Centre (the day before) the penguins arrived 5.45pm and they estimated about the same time or maybe early due to weather condition which getting colder. The staff also suggested about 5pm should start queue bcoz after that more tours coming and hard to grab sit / spot to see penguin.

So, we actually before 5pm (4.55pm) started queuing just in order to get the best sit and also saw a few group ppl start queue OMG...... okokoklahhhhhhhhh you can say we `re "KIASU" anyway more anymoh ppl "KIASU" then us. ahhahaahh

At the end, we sit at 2 row which you can see the following pictures.

got it from internet.

Once the door open everyone like rush to go out and I was like OMG,...is FREEZING! and it was funny coz at the begining we were like walk normal but all the sudden we like "jogging" (top speed) LOL bcoz a few ppl like run especially bunch of "alike Uni students".

And guess what? something really piss me off bcoz this "alike Uni student" bring out his camera and start "curi-curi " snapped a few photographs and even sit the very 1st row as while.

Hey dude,..dont you understand fucking english! ?????????????????????? even the ranger keep remind us all photography even from mobile phone or camera with NO_FLASH! are not permitted. Even you carry bloody DSLR Camera doesnt means you got BIGGER Balls -________-

At the end, the some guys seat next to him, told him please do not take any photographs. THANKS GOD! for that. I believe a lot ppl love & desperate (especially me!) to take those cutie but at least they respect & understood the regulations.

So, once we be seated, all we doing is just seat & wait about 40 minutes T___T, mannnnnn we become Ice man liew.......... and I cant feel my fingers even I wear gloves. It was windy night and I got sand in my eyes. >_<" dammit! But, in this kind of situation the best experience especially like couples, can seat close & hug your partner and enjoy the front beach view plus sunset ekekekekekke~~ how sweet & romantic ;P

okay,...stop talking crap. Finally, the very 1st penguin arrived was 5.55pm. It was sooooooo SUPER CUTE awwwwww~ wanna faint so tiny so cute!! cute!! cute!!! However, we been told by rangers we must sit quiet, try not to talk too loud and do not stand up coz it will scare the penguins and they will back to water again! If possible, pretend we are the big rocks on the beach LOL. and finalllllyyyyyyy...... we get so excited and everyone like "ohh~~~ aww~~~~ but as for Ray is difference. What was so funny is when Ray whisper to my ears said " You are late!" LOLOLOLOLOLOL (the day before it was 5.45pm), so just late a few minutes ahhahahah

got from internet

ohya,..those little cutie about 30-35cm! omg,.........I wanna pet them!

After the penguin parade, you still able to see more penguins which you will get to see them on your way back to centre and it was so awesome , we can see them really close, as close as you can touch them!!! (touching is not allow) like following photo I found internet.

Now...... anyone wanna go to penguin parade???????

We did bought some souvenir and hard copy photograph since we not able to take any photos and I bought a few to send for our parents to tempt them come to Melbourne! and some postcard for my ex-boss & other stuffs.

Phillip Island (Part 4: Swan Lake)

We was disappointed bcoz we totally wasted our precious time and walked about 30 minutes -___-' and see NONE of swan.

And hardly see any birds but we saw a lot Wallaby Kangaroos. I wont recommend because it wasnt great scenery and the lake water like brown color and looks so dry.

Cant believe we walked so far away and went to "hiding view" to see swans.

At Hiding view & waited for swans -___-'

They are wildlife so, as long any human walked pass they seem threated by us. So, better be quiet, walk gentled and "leave them alone". There a few time, the moment I prepared to snap, they get scared and run away. I guess they think we`re shooting or attack them. O.o'

okayyyyyyyyyyyy............part 5 coming soon.

Phillip Island (Part 3: Koala Conservation Centre)

After, the Churchill next destination is the Koala Conservation Centre (2nd park pass), just 25 minutes drove from Churchill. Here about the centre information. Click HERE

It is a great place to pay a visit for those animal lover like us. To be honest, is it our first time experienced saw soooo many Koala with very close distance I means in WILDlife., not like a zoo It can be as close as 1 meter. You can see all Koala at every corner or places, seem like everywhere. I guess it was our lucky day (^_^) heheeh we`re so blessed.

Entrance

Check out the walk boards.

It was kind of small nature park and great place for resting or picnic. At the moment, is autumn season and the weather condition is getting cold so, most Koala spend they time sleeping and less active.

How adorable......

btw, this is how the Koala sleep in cold weather. They has pear-shaped body and ability to balance them self. Amazing it isnt ? When hot weather they tend to spread or lose a bit their hands/legs.

They are well protected and even got sign "do not disturb"

Good Morning Sunshine....

We saw this one who just woke up.

Like human, they also stretched they head, hands, legs and..............errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr then all the sudden, we saw this "action". hahahah which pretty funny. I bet it must be really itchy "there" huh~

More Koala.

So, after the walks at the end, you can went to souvenir shop and some information about Koala. By the way, while visiting the nature park....dont forgot to take some photos with this Giant Koala!!! (^__^) they got 3 all together.

awww...........Koala hug me.
